Cyber Conscious Nepali Community

A NAWA Initiative- #actnowstaysecure

As part of the Australian Federal Government’s Cyber Awareness Program (#ActNowStaySecure), the Nepali Association of Western Australia (NAWA), in partnership with NEWA (Nepalese Engineers in WA), proudly launched the Cyber Conscious Nepali Community initiative.
This program is designed to empower Nepali-speaking individuals and families in Australia with essential knowledge and tools to stay safe online. From protecting your personal information to understanding scams, social media risks, and children’s online safety – the content is presented in simple Nepali language to make it accessible for all ages.
Whether you’re a student, parent, business owner, or elder, this initiative promotes inclusive, practical, and culturally tailored cyber safety education.
  1. Promoting and maintaining unity and friendship among Nepalese and other communities
  2. Sharing information among members and networking
  3. Participating in activities relating to exploring educational, social, cultural and economic collaboration
